The Event Coordinator is responsible for the planning, organization and management of events to support Valet Living’s resident-facing mobile application.


Responsibilities

  • Plan and orchestrate launch and recurring resident education events on multifamily communities
  • Develop event template that outlines key tasks and executes within budget
  • Serve as an outstanding ambassador for the Valet Living brand
  • Schedule email marketing blasts to drive event attendance
  • Coordinate all event logistics including onsite logistics, invitations, catering, shipping, supplies, etc.
  • Document and share post event reporting following each event
  • Provide the onsite team for each event in attendance directive on logistics and company goals to ensure the team works collectively to meet these goals
  • Organize procurement of marketing and promotional giveaway materials
  • Maintain event schedules/calendars
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing or related field
  • 3+ years’ event coordination experience
  • Proven track record of identifying and maximizing event opportunities
  • Experience in branding and/or business to consumer (B2C) marketing a plus
  • Experience in working for a technology-focused company or in the multifamily housing industry a plus

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills and the ability to interact with a variety of audiences
  • Exceptional presentation abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and influence both internally and externally
  • Proven track record of identifying and maximizing event opportunities
  • Self-motivated, highly organized with the ability to prioritize independently while demonstrating a sense of urgency
  • Outstanding time management, communication and organizational skills
  • Must be able to effectively prioritize and assign work and meet deadlines
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to thrive to a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills
